Each monitor is a room in the app, and every one reads from the same encrypted file on your computer. Log a payment in Invoices and it is already in your P&L. Social, Contracts, Proposals, Rates and the media kit are in there too. Point at a monitor to see what the room does.

Every job from lead to paid on one row, with a bar that shows where it stands. A job holds its shoot, its deliverables, the usage rights the client bought and the invoices that bill it. Brand deals and client gigs live on the same list.
flor drafts the invoice when the work is done. Sending it is yours.
Shoots, deliver-by dates, the day a rights window ends and the day a sent invoice falls due, all on one grid. Save to my calendar writes a single file that Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook imports, and saving again updates the same events.
flor writes a file for you to import. It never connects to your calendar account.
Offload a card to two drives at once. Every file is fingerprinted as it comes off the card, then read back from each drive and compared. Footage knows which drive each shoot lives on, how many copies it has, and when it can come off. It also sorts a messy folder by date, client and kind, and shows you the plan first.
flor never deletes footage or formats a card. "Safe to format" appears only once every file checks out on two drives.
Clock in for a client at their rate and clock out when you wrap. See the time by day, week, two weeks, month or year, then bill the unbilled hours in one press as a draft invoice. If you forgot to clock in, tell flor "worked for Scott Monday 10 to 6" and it logs the day.
Hours you have worked are never counted as income. Money counts once the invoice is paid.
Your kit with serials, what you paid and what it is worth now, and where each piece is today: packed for a shoot, lent out or at the shop. Rentals add up the days, and one press puts the charge on that person's invoice. A booking gets its pack list from your kit, and the insurance list saves as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
Worth now is your own number. flor never prices your gear for you.
The people you hire, with their roles and their day, half-day and hourly rates. Add them to a shoot, ask if they are free, and see who said yes. Text everyone the call sheet in one message, or post it to Slack, Telegram or Discord. Mark someone paid and it files the expense on that job. At year end you get who you paid and who crosses the 1099 line.
You see every message before it goes. Marking someone paid records a payment. It moves no money.
What came in, what you can write off and what to put aside at your own percent. Your four estimated payments, with the date each one is due. Log a drive and the miles count at the IRS rate for that day. At tax time, one press saves a folder for your accountant: the spreadsheets, a summary PDF and your receipts.
flor never files, never pays and never gives tax advice. Every figure comes from your own records.
Costs by category with deductible flags. Snap a receipt or a business card and flor reads it on your machine, shows you what it got and files it once you say yes. Profit and loss comes from your paid invoices minus what you actually spent, so the net is real.
The figures are your own records. Nothing is estimated from an industry average.
Connect your inbox read-only. Business mail sorts itself into action, money and FYI, and payment receipts get matched to your open invoices.

I’m Flor — flor.rgb behind the camera. I built flor.cam because running the business half of a media studio meant renting five subscriptions, feeding client work into other people’s clouds, and still doing all the chasing myself.
I wanted one desk that holds the whole business and works offline. Nobody was building it that way, so I did — for my own studio first.
Then it turned out the desk didn’t much care what you make. A photographer, a podcaster, an editor, a writer — underneath, we’re all running the same business: the same chasing, the same invoices, the same quiet months. Built by a working videographer, for everyone who creates for a living.
flor.cam exists to bring real creation back to the media sphere. The AI here never makes your work — it buys back the hours the business side was eating, so the ideas stay yours. Yes. Your business records and credentials live in an encrypted vault on your computer. Indexed media stays where you put it, and photos you file through Snap sit beside the vault as plain local files, not vault-encrypted. We can’t see your data because it never reaches us.
A solo desk or a two-desk studio, yes. One key runs two machines, and Key Sync keeps them on the same book, encrypted end-to-end between your own devices. What flor.cam is not (yet): a multi-seat workspace with logins, roles and permissions. Each license is one studio’s private vault; a bigger team runs a key per two desks, and those desks don’t share one database. We’d rather say that plainly than sell you seats that don’t exist.
What it does do: flor posts into the channel your team already uses: Slack, Telegram or Discord. Call sheets, a morning brief, an invoice that cleared. You choose which events go, and you see the exact text before the first one sends. It does not give your team accounts, logins, roles, or a shared database. Your vault is still yours, on your machine.
macOS (Apple Silicon), Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or Linux (64-bit): an AppImage for any distro, or a .deb for Ubuntu and Debian. The optional on-device assistant runs on your own GPU. Pick the one that fits your hardware on first launch and it downloads once, then runs offline. Voice notes are macOS-only today.
The builds aren’t code-signed yet. A signing certificate is a yearly cost flor.cam hasn’t taken on. Nothing is wrong with the download. Your operating system just can’t check who published it.
On macOS: open the app once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway. On Windows: press “More info” on the SmartScreen notice, then “Run anyway”. You only do this once. On Linux there is nothing to unlock: install the .deb, or mark the AppImage as executable.
No. flor drafts the paperwork: the outreach note, the follow-up, the invoice line, the call sheet. You press send on every one. It never touches the thing you actually make.
There’s a free 14-day trial so you can be sure before you buy. It’s the whole app, with one exception worth knowing up front: Key Sync pairs your machines using your license key, so a second desk starts syncing the day you buy. The founding license has no expiry, so it keeps working. Whatever you’re on, your records live in files on your own disk and export to plain, readable formats whenever you want. There is no server to switch off and no account to lock you out of.
Because the thinking is happening on your machine, not in someone’s data centre. For those few seconds your computer works about as hard as it does exporting a video. Nothing is wrong, and nothing leaves. After a quiet stretch flor steps out of memory on its own and comes back the moment you ask.
