The whole desk, room by room.
The sales page keeps it short. This one doesn’t. Every room the app ships, every trade it speaks, and the plain answers about where your work lives.
The sidekick your studio never had.
When you’re out shooting, nobody’s minding the business. flor stays at the desk and briefs you the moment you sit back down. It never acts behind your back: it drafts and it flags, and you decide.
Name the clients you want.
Say the kind of client you want — “wedding venues in Austin” — and flor searches the public web and brings back real businesses, each with a link to the page it came from. Tick the ones worth having; flor files them and wires up the outreach: segments, timed follow-ups, drafts in your voice.
flor drafts, you press send — outreach never fires on its own.
Stuck? Spark it.
Studio sparks ideas from your pillars. One press turns one into a shoot-ready concept: hook options, the beats, a shot list, captions per platform.
Your ideas, amplified — never made for you.
Everything stays current.
Clients, retainers, follow-ups, invoices — the desk keeps the book in order and flags what needs you: the reply that came in, the invoice going cold, the client gone quiet.
Ready the second you sit down.
Pick the tier that fits your machine — Full or Balanced — and the assistant runs entirely on your own hardware, seeing only your vault. Want a bigger brain? Sign in with ChatGPT and it thinks on the plan you already pay for, or bring your own Claude or OpenAI key. Switching changes who thinks, never where your business lives.
Everything the business side needs — nothing it doesn’t.
One app. No add-ons, no locked tier, no integration that breaks when someone else ships.
Jobs, deliverables & rights
Every job from lead to paid on one list, brand deals included. Deliverables carry their dates, usage rights are dated windows, and “draft the invoice” is one tap.
Calendar & call sheets
Shoot and deliver dates on one month grid. Every shoot carries a call sheet: text it to the whole crew in one message on a Mac, or post it into the Slack, Telegram or Discord channel they already use.
Footage, offloaded and checked
Offload a card to two drives at once, every file read back and compared. “Safe to format” shows only when both copies check out. flor never deletes footage or formats a card.
Hours you can bill
Clock in for a client at their rate, see the week or the month, and bill the unbilled hours as one draft invoice.
Gear & rentals
Your kit and what it is worth now, a pack list per booking, rentals billed in one press, and an insurance list as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
Crew
Day, half-day and hourly rates. Ask who is free, mark people paid as an expense on the job, and see who crosses the 1099 line.
CRM built for media
Clients, retainers, health signals and going-cold flags: your whole book of business in one calm place.
Email desk
Connect your inbox (read-only) and business mail sorts itself into action, money and FYI.
Invoices — sent, tracked, paid
Draft → sent → paid, auto-numbered, with late money on Home. flor matches receipts in your inbox to open invoices, or connect Stripe or PayPal read-only and you know when you’ve been paid. It always asks before marking anything paid.
Expenses, receipts & true P&L
Costs by category with deductible flags, and net profit from your paid invoices. Snap a receipt and flor reads it on your machine and files it once you say yes.
Taxes, set aside
What to put aside at your own percent, the four estimated payments, miles at the IRS rate, and one folder for your accountant. flor never files, pays or gives tax advice.
Media kit & rate card
The one-pager brands ask for, exported as a file you own. Every number carries its source and the day it was pulled. flor invents no number and quotes no industry benchmark.
Outreach that closes
Templates built around your niche, timed follow-ups and a “who to contact today” queue. A reply pauses that lead. flor finds new leads on the public web for you to review.
Social: numbers & trends
Each channel’s numbers over time. Trends come from YouTube’s chart and Reddit, each linked to its source.
Get found
flor reads your own site the way a search engine does and names what’s costing you calls, like the missing city. It audits your video uploads too. No score out of 100 and no invented search volume: every number is counted off the page in front of you.
Posting plan — idea to posted
Sparks → Shortlist → Planned → Posted, over the ideas and clips you keep. A date is your plan: flor holds no login to any platform, so it can’t post for you and never pretends to have scheduled anything.
Publish & render
One description becomes captions and specs for each platform, plus one-click renders of every aspect, for video and for stills.
Every trade in the media sphere — same business underneath.
Pick your trade on first launch and the whole desk speaks it — your Home, your content pillars, your assistant’s voice. Eleven designed lanes, not one app with the nouns swapped.
Videographer / video agency
The origin lane, and the deepest — call sheets, per-project profit, a render for every platform.
Photographer
Galleries delivered, retainers watched — one master photograph sized for every platform.
Editor / post-production
Briefs, turnarounds and pay-per-clip income to the dollar, with the render queue at your elbow.
Podcaster / interviewer
The guest pipeline, the money clip out of every episode, the show run like a business.
Coach / educator
Offers, student results, and an idea engine that keeps the lessons coming.
Writer / newsletter
The essays, the list, the pitches — and the chasing, contracts and invoicing off your plate.
Trader / market analyst
A real trade journal — wins, lessons, setups — quietly feeding your content ideas.
Musician / audio artist
Releases, shows, the story behind the track — the business half handled.
Designer / visual artist
The brief, the thinking, the invoice — and your stills sized for every platform.
Streamer / gamer
Highlights, clip income, community moments — a channel run like a studio.
General creator
Doesn’t fit a box? Every tool stays on, and the pillars are yours to define.
Your data starts local — and stays yours.
Not a setting you switch on. It’s how the app is built.
Where does my work actually live?
No flor.cam servers, no telemetry, no account. Your core records live in your own encrypted vault; indexed media stays in your folders, and Snap photos stay as local companion files. Optional cloud AI, mail and payment connections contact only the provider you choose.
flor.cam also learns how you work — which rooms you reach for, the words you use in your own outreach — and works that out from what is already in your vault. There is nothing to send. The desk works with the wifi off, and your records export to plain, readable files whenever you want — including the day you decide to walk away.
How do my two machines stay in step?
Your license runs two machines. They sync straight to each other, encrypted under your password, confirmed by a six-digit code you match on both screens. There is no server in the middle.
When does flor touch the internet?
flor can reach the web when you ask it to — read a link you paste, research a question, check how your own site and videos look to a search engine, or go looking for new clients. The search comes included with your license; use a search key of your own or a SearXNG instance you host if you’d rather. It’s on by default, but nothing goes out until you ask, and flor shows you every page it reads.
It reads only the public web: it never signs in to anyone’s account and never touches private data. Social’s Trends read YouTube’s chart on your own key and Reddit’s public feeds, when you press read or once a day if you switch that on.
What does flor.cam ask Google for?
Two optional permissions, both started by you: Google Drive access is limited to the specific files you choose or flor.cam creates, and YouTube access is read-only so flor.cam can show your own channel analytics. flor.cam cannot publish to YouTube, and cannot read unrelated Drive files.
Is there anything that goes the other way?
One connection does. Wire flor to your crew’s Slack, Telegram or Discord and the events you switch on get posted there — and a call sheet carries a client’s name, a shoot address and a contact number. So flor shows you the exact text before the first one ever sends, every event is off until you turn it on, and it goes to your channel — never to us.
The honest answers.
Is my data really private?
Yes. Your business records and credentials live in an encrypted vault on your machine; indexed media stays where you put it, and photos you file through Snap stay as separate local files beside the vault (not vault-encrypted). We can’t see your data because it never reaches us.
Can my team or agency run it?
A solo desk or a two-desk studio — yes. One key runs two machines, and Key Sync keeps them on the same book, encrypted end-to-end between your own devices. What flor.cam is not (yet): a multi-seat workspace with logins, roles and permissions. Each license is one studio’s private vault; a bigger team runs a key per two desks, and those desks don’t share one database. We’d rather say that plainly than sell you seats that don’t exist.
What it does do: flor posts into the channel your team already uses — Slack, Telegram or Discord. Call sheets, a morning brief, an invoice that cleared. You choose which events go, and you see the exact text before the first one sends. It does not give your team accounts, logins, roles, or a shared database — your vault is still yours, on your machine.
What do I need to run it?
macOS (Apple Silicon), Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or Linux (64-bit): an AppImage for any distro, or a .deb for Ubuntu and Debian. The optional on-device assistant runs on your own GPU; pick the one that fits your hardware on first launch and it downloads once, then runs offline. Voice notes are macOS-only today.
Why does my computer warn me on first launch?
The builds aren’t code-signed yet — a signing certificate is a yearly cost this hasn’t taken on. Nothing is wrong with the download; your operating system just can’t yet check who published it.
On macOS: open the app once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway. On Windows: press “More info” on the SmartScreen notice, then “Run anyway”. You only do this once. On Linux there is nothing to unlock: install the .deb, or mark the AppImage as executable.
Does the AI write my work for me?
No. flor drafts the paperwork — the outreach note, the follow-up, the invoice line, the call sheet — and you press send on every one of them. It never touches the thing you actually make.
What’s your refund policy?
There’s a free 14-day trial so you can be sure before you buy — the whole app, with one exception worth knowing up front: Key Sync pairs your machines using your license key, so a second desk starts syncing the day you buy. After purchase, if it’s not for you, contact us within 14 days for a refund. See the Refund Policy.
Why do my fans spin up when flor is thinking?
Because the thinking is happening on your machine, not in someone’s data centre. For those few seconds your computer works about as hard as it does exporting a video. Nothing is wrong, and nothing leaves. After a quiet stretch flor steps out of memory on its own and comes back the moment you ask.
What happens if I stop paying, or you disappear?
The founding license has no expiry, so it keeps working. Whatever you’re on, your records live in files on your own disk and export to plain, readable formats whenever you want. There is no server to switch off and no account to lock you out of.
Seen enough?
Go out and create.
The trial runs 14 days. No account, no card.
